Since I’ve been photographing lots of families lately, I decided to pick out a few highlight images from each shoot and combine them all into one blog post. I have to say, fatherhood has deeply influenced the way I approach family portraiture. As a father I’ve come to understand the connection between parent and child, it is a connection that is difficult to describe in words but takes no effort to feel. When capturing images for my family clients, I aim to focus on this bond in order to let it come through in the images that I create. This bond, this connection, this love shared by family can come across in so many ways… in a smile, a look, a hug, all of which are represented here and there within the images you’ll find below.
