Recently had a great time capturing some images of the wonderful Scott family. Mama and Papa Scott are awesome and the kids have a TON of fantastic energy… they were a blast to work with!
After a 6 year hiatus, I just photographed my first Fashion shoot! Oh fashion… How I’ve missed thee.
Thanks to the entire creative team that came together in order to make this shoot happen. Also, many thanks to the girls at M Management L.A. for providing such wonderful talent.

Shooting this wedding was such and adventure! Having shot a wedding in Mammoth last summer, I felt fairly familiar with the area and what it had to offer. Given my level of comfort with the area I figured that the only difference this time around would be a bit of snow… maybe even some “falling” snow. Well, I got my wish, and then some. In the two days that we were there for the wedding, the Mammoth area received five feet of snow… as well as a light breeze averaging about thirty miles an hour! It was snowing sideways with little to no visibility. Kay and Wes were totally upbeat about the weather, as a matter of fact they were kind of expecting this! Despite the fact that we weren’t able to shoot outside nearly as much as I had hoped, I feel quite happy with the results. Mammoth is a kick ass place and it challenges me and my photography skills each time I’m there. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy.

Lourdes & David came to me by way of a referral. When I received word that they wanted to go ahead and book me I was more than thrilled because that meant that I could go back to the place where I grew up and do what I love… take pictures. Lourdes & David held their ceremony and reception at the Colonnade Hotel in Coral Gables, a gorgeous & historic suburb in Miami. After their ceremony and halfway through their reception, guests were surprised by the second grand entrance of the bride and groom who were closely followed by an entire Brazilian Carnival troop consisting of drummers, dancers and even performers on stilts! It was a colorful occasion to say the least. Needless to say, all had a great time dancing the night away “Carnival” style! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Here are a few highlight images from this past Saturday’s wedding. With 12 total guests Brigid & Xavier’s wedding was the smallest that I’ve ever photographed. But what it didn’t have in size, it more than made up for in coziness and warmth. Needless to say only their closest friends and family members were in attendance. Also, unlike weddings I’ve photographed in the past, there was no formal reception. So, after their Matador Beach Wedding, we drove to West Hollywood where we had a great time shooting at night at the corner of Sunset Blvd & Vine. Brigid & Xavier truly appreciate the art of photography and it was an honor creating these images with them. They are legitimately kind and good people. BTW, I should also mention that while shooting their portraits at Matador Beach, we had a coincidental run in with none other than Ellen Degeneres & Portia De Rossi… we have the picture to prove it! Gotta love L.A.
