I don’t know a single photographer who isn’t thrilled when his/her work is featured in a major publication. So, when I was approached by the editors at the Huffington Post for permission to publish one of my images for an article they were working on, I was of course, thrilled! The story they were working on was about random celebrity wedding crashers. As it turns out, I do happen to have a pretty good shot of a certain celebrity couple who by stroke of random luck, totally crashed my clients wedding. I’m talking about the one and only Ellen DeGeneris and her beautiful wife Portia de Rossi. Obviously, the phrase “wedding crasher” has a negative stigma to it, however, Ellen and Portia were amazingly classy and cordial and were more than happy to sit for a few quick pictures with my clients, the Bride and Groom. Ellen, having a wonderful sense of humor both on and off screen, naturally cranked out a few witty remarks that had everyone in the vicinity cracking up. The wedding, the celeb wedding crashers and the location made for a truly memorable day. BTW, here is a link to Brigid & Xavier’s wedding… where the “wedding crashing” took place. lol
