Lindsey’s Hermosa Beach Maternity Photo Shoot

Had a great time working with Lindsey & her husband James recently. We decided to shoot at the Hermosa Beach pier and the goal was to capture simple yet elegant maternity images of Lindsey while at the same time conveying the openness of the environment we were shooting in. Oh yeah, and if there happened to be a great sunset while we were there, we would try to get a great sunset shot of Lindsey…. I think we succeeded in all accounts.

This is the third time I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Shea family. Seems like just yesterday that I shot Katy’s maternity session which was shot in studio at Redondo Beach here’s a link. Then it was Ryan’s sister wedding in Palos Verdes here’s a link. Fast forward to the present day and now I’m photographing their family portrait… how time flies. They are such wonderful people, incredibly fun and up for any photographic idea I throw at them. As a photographer it also helps that they have NO bad angles! On to the pics…

Ishibashi Family – Santa Monica Family Photographer

I’ll start out by saying that the Ishibashi’s absolutely rocked their photoshoot! From their wardrobe to their fun attitude, they were ready to have a blast during their shoot, and I love that. We started out by shooting at the UCLA Botanical Garden. From there we switched location to their beautiful home in the Santa Monica area, and lastly we simply walked out their front door to a few select spots in their neighborhood and shot away.

Meet Samantha – Manhattan Beach Newborn Photography

Little Samantha was only days old when her parents and I got together for her Newborn photography session. She is absolutely adorable and was so comfortable during her session that she slept through most of it. She did however wake up for a few minutes and graced us with her adorable smile. The shoot was held in her Manhattan Beach home.

So this was my first on location maternity shoot. The first few were all shot in-studio but for Julie’s shoot I though it would be a nice change of pace to have our shoot at one of my favorite parks. Julie and her family looked like they had just stepped out of a magazine… making my job a piece of cake! LOL
