The Slussers are not only great clients but they are even better friends. This makes the 3rd time they have allowed me the privilege of photographing their growing family. Baby Leighton is their newest addition and is a perfect baby boy.

Kristi & Jonah’s Palm Springs Wedding

Let me start with this… Kristi & Jonah met on a Southwest airlines flight! How cool and unique is that? Cool and unique sum up Kristi & Jonah. They approached their wedding with the point of view that they wanted their wedding to be about them and who they are as individuals and less about tradition. A close friend presided over their wedding ceremony. Kristi’s wedding gown was more of a dress than a gown yet she looked elegant, beautiful and stylish. Jonah wore a suit, not tie, yet looked as debonaire and as suave as Mr. James Bond himself. Again, cool and unique. Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the historic Colony Palms Hotel, Palm Springs. They walked down the aisle, they said “I do” and they danced the night away with a small group of their closest friends and family. Kristi & Jonah… It’s been a pleasure.

Raman & Kurt’s Wedding Featured On South Asian Bride

Wendy & Mike’s Mammoth Lakes Wedding

What can I say… my dream finally came true! Ever since I visited Mammoth Lakes on a family vacation, I was hoping I’d get booked to shoot a wedding in Mammoth. Well, here are a few highlight images from one of my favorite weddings thus far. Wendy & Mike were incredibly cordial, gracious and accommodating. Their vibe was very relaxed and easy going, they didn’t even flinch when the skies turned stormy and threatened to bring our photo shoot to an abrupt end. Fortunately the weather held out just long enough for us to capture more than a few “keeper” images. The reception took place at Parallax restaurant located mid mountain inside McCoy Station. It was accessible only by panoramic gondola ride and of course… the views were spectacular! Congrats Wendy & Mike, may you enjoy much married bliss.

Aria’s Newborn Portraiture Session

How adorable is Aria!?! Aria is the brand new little daughter to two dear friends of mine. So when they decided to hire me to photograph their little bundle of joy, I was both thrilled and honored. We shot everything on location at their lovely home. The approach was more photo-journalistic, which helped to truly capture the loving bond that already exists between baby and parents. I think we captured more than a few special moments… I hope you will agree.

Robyn & Andrew’s Langham Hotel Wedding

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to be the photographer for Robyn and Andrew’s beautiful Pasadena wedding. Robyn’s getting ready shots were captured at her childhood home in Pasadena, their wedding took place at the historic San Gabriel Mission Church in Pasadena’s Mission district. Lastly, their reception took place at one of my favorite venues, the gorgeous Langham Hotel in Pasadena. This is my second time shooting at the Langham and I absolutely love how easy it is to create great pictures there. The architecture, the landscape, the Japanese gardens, the list goes on and on. Hope you enjoy these images and congratulations to the beautiful bride and handsome groom. BTW, how gorgeous was Robyn’s dress?!? WOW.

Gina & Sean’s MountainGate Country Club Wedding

I’ve been looking forward to Gina & Sean’s wedding for quite some time now. From the day of our first meeting, Gina, Sean and I hit it off. I realized from the get go that they had a huge appreciation for photography… shortly thereafter I found out that Sean is an accomplished commercial photographer. This is the second wedding I’ve photographed for a fellow photographer. I’m hugely flattered that they selected me to shoot their wedding. Their wedding took place at the gorgeous MountanGate Country Club in Los Angeles. The country club had amazing open spaces, trees, mountain views and even the 405 off in the distance… which we later took advantage of that night as you’ll see in the last shot of this posting. Evan & Ryan’s Santa Clarita Wedding

Evan & Ryan are awesome. They are super easy going and stress free which allowed them to truly enjoy and take in the many details of their wedding day. Additionally their entire wedding party was a collection of characters with fantastic and fun dispositions. Shooting was a blast! The ceremony and reception took place at Le Chene, a hidden gem.

Shirley & Sam’s Burbank Castaway Restaurant Wedding

Kristen & George’s Glendale Wedding

Meet Kristen & George. More than most couples I’ve worked with, Kristen & George were very traditional…. traditional in the sense that they were married in the same church where Kristen’s parents were married and just for fun, were carried on tradition by posing Kristen in the same spots where her mother posed for several of her wedding pics. We then broke with tradition and had a TON of laughs shooting with the entire wedding party at Brand Park, also in Glendale. Bride, Groom, bride’s maids and grooms men all had a blast and even got a bit carried away having a little too much fun… don’t ask… Good times, good times!
